Steve Wade, CEO

Drawing on more than 25 years experience in the electronics and technology industries, Steve Wade is the founder and CEO of Softwyre. His expertise includes hardware and software specification and installation, wide area networks, systems security and Internet technologies.
Steve works with clients to spot business processes that are ripe for automation, and leverages his programmers and network engineers to meet any IT challenge. He really shines in his unique ability to talk with people as well as he communicates with computers. A man of fierce integrity, his honest straight-forward approach to doing business keeps our clients coming back for years to come.
Steve began his technical career in the United States Army, where he served as a Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer in 1988. Since then, he has held a range of progressively more demanding IT roles including Telecommunication / Information Systems Technician for Entergy Corp. from 1990 to 1993, Network Administrator for an ISP from 1994 to 1996, Senior Systems Engineer for one of the largest Microsoft and Novell systems solutions providers in the state of Arkansas from 1997 to 2000, Technology Analyst with Talisman Capital and VP of Internet Technologies for Computer Concepts in 2001.
When relaxing at home, Steve enjoys riding his dirt bike and hanging out with his most precious accomplishments: his two kids Lauren and Tyler. He’s also a certified scuba diver with a penchant for bowling, fishing and travel.
Garland D. Dunn, Vice President of Sales

Garland D. Dunn is the Vice President of Sales for Softwyre and the first point of contact with our clients, responsible for account oversight, business consulting and strategic planning. With more than 20 years experience as a programmer, systems engineer, project manager and salesman in the financial sector, Garland’s marriage of technical knowledge and business prowess serves our clients well as he is quick to understand their business needs and the technology that brings abstract concepts to life.
After earning a BBA in Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas, Garland began his technology career in 1988 at Little Rock’s Systematics as a data center trainee. Building on his solid technical foundation, he worked his way up through the ranks of project management, product development and sales to Vice President of Sales / Director for Financial Services Division, earning the prestigious honors of Product Consultant of the Year and Sales Executive of the Year for exceeding the corporate revenue goal by $5 million, boosting profit by $2 million, and exceeding sales quotas by 300 percent.
Garland is an accomplished athlete with a penchant for boxing and baseball. His greatest accomplishment is his two sons, who also share his passion for sports.
Jeff Wirtz, Project Manager
Jeff Wirtz is Softwyre’s Project Manager. He has over 12 years experience in design and client management across multiple mediums.
Before joining Softwyre in October of 2009, Jeff started his career in Hollywood, CA working for Learning Systems Sciences. Soon after, he jumped in to creating and developing entertainment websites for Disney and MGM, while working for QABAL.net. Feeling the need to get back to his roots, he relocated to San Diego and began work for OTVnet, where he worked on websites for IBEWs and their contractors, managing and creating both marketing and union based benefits related sites. In October of 2001, he relocated to Little Rock, AR where he began a 7 year stint, as the Art Director for DataPath in Little Rock, AR. Throughout those 7 years, he created both print and web based marketing materials. He also managed client projects and a small creative/development team.
When Jeff is not in the office, he can usually be found enjoying time with his family, at the baseball/softball fields cheering on his son and daughter, or out on the water trying to catch the next "big fish" story. He is also a hobbyist photographer and a highest score wins golfer.
Cyrus Odum, Software Developer

Cyrus (Cy) Odum is one of Softwyre’s talented Software Developers, and is the driving force behind the content management systems that run our Web sites. He joined Softwyre in 2007, bringing expertise in Web development, software engineering, applications management and integration of emerging technologies. He is responsible for technical production, hosting, quality control and post-launch technical support.
Cy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management of Computer Systems (MCS) with a minor in Web Development from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.
When he’s not at the office, you’re likely to find Cy swimming, bowling and spending time with his niece and two nephews, who he likes to spoil rotten and tickle mercilessly.
Tiffany Thomason, Dispatcher and Support Desk Manager

Tiffany Thomason joined the Hardwyre / Softwyre Team in 2007 bringing more than seven years experience in management and customer relations with Bruns Management (McDonalds). She graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Business Information Systems and Marketing. As the Hardwyre Engineering Team Dispatcher and Support Desk Manager, Tiffany is responsible for purchasing hardware, communicating tasks to Engineers and following through with clients, planning and documenting projects, and providing enthusiastic customer service.
Michael Currey, Network Engineer
As a seasoned network engineer, Michael Currey specializes in the design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of client networks. Michael is also responsible for new server implementation and workstation configuration, and designing and implementing client data backup strategies. He brings considerable experience with Microsoft Exchange, Cisco and Watchguard firewalls, and has earned a host of certifications that prove his abilities.
Prior to joining Hardwyre, Michael served as the Line Leader Technician at Scroll Technologies and as a Network Administrator at Riley Health & Fitness.
