UAPB Partners with Softwyre
It’s only February, and 2009 has already been a big year for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The marching band welcomed Barack Obama to the presidency at his inauguration. The baseball team announced plans to build a new 12-acre sports complex to rival U of A’s Baum Stadium. And behind the scenes, the administration is working closely with Softwyre on a brand new Web site to be unveiled before the fall semester.
After reviewing several Web design firms in a rigorous bid process, UAPB chose Softwyre for its demonstrated success with higher education Web sites; particularly because of the 2.7% enrollment increase Softwyre achieved in redesigning the University of Central Arkansas Web site, www.uca.edu.
Look for a fresh online face for UAPB in the coming months, shaped by direct input from students and staff. And look for more big news from UAPB throughout the year.
